The Eurasian blue tit, like the great tit, is originally a forest bird which has adapted well to the human environment. It also likes to breed in nesting boxes and in winter will come very close to houses, dangling from suet ball treats and peanut strings. The Eurasian blue tits are able to feed perched from even the smallest twigs. They have few demands concerning their habitat and are therefore to be found in many parks and gardens.
